Rochester Hills is now allowing dogs (on a leash) at Spencer Park, during the months of October through April. The previous rule forbid dogs year round. The primary purpose of the rule to exclude dogs has to do with beach management and cleanliness, which is not an issue between October and April when the beach is closed. This should allow more people and their furry friends to enjoy Spencer Park.
