The district court is our local community court, which is why it’s crucial to elect judges who really understand our community. Ryan Deel has proven his dedication and commitment to our community through his decade of service as a former library board member, current city council member and city council president.
Ryan is a graduate of Michigan State University and Wayne State University Law School. Since 2006, he has served as the judicial staff attorney to Chief Judge Linda Hallmark of the Oakland County Probate Court. He has been an author and lecturer for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Oakland County Bar Association.
Ryan’s wife, Melinda, is also an attorney practicing in Rochester Hills. Like Ryan, she is active in the community. She serves as the immediate past president of the Oakland County Bar Association and the president of the Rochester Hills Public Library Board of Trustees. Ryan and Melinda have lived in Rochester Hills for over 20 years, where their twin sons attend Rochester Community Schools. Ryan Deel is a trusted voice to serve on our district court.
